Well, we're not. Really. We just like them and it's fun to shoot once in a while. Most of the shooting takes place getting the hunting rifle sighted in before deer or elk season.
That being said, we've been active about guns lately because our basic right to own them is under serious threat by the real nut-jobs that think they know how to run our life and raise our kids better than we do. The
only reason to take guns away from law-abiding citizens it to increase the level of control over them. This works by creating fear in citizens that their only protection lies with the government, which in turn will garner the government even more unrighteous power over it's citizens.
Our constitutional rights are carefully and steadily being stolen from us, especially over the past 50 years or so. Meanwhile, we're stuck with a liberal minority and supporting government that continually force us to be more and more tolerant of evil and sin. No longer are we allowed to confront wickedness in every form, but must be accepting or be confronted with
harassment and lawsuits for expressing a conservative opinion. At the same time the wicked are encouraged to flaunt their sin the face of our children. Where does it stop?
Well, it stops with me. It stops with you. And it stops with every other citizen who will to stand up against the creep of wickedness. Do something, and do it now. Start by refusing to be "Politically Correct." Political Correctness is just sanctioned lying and forces us to be tolerant of things we disagree with. Think about it...it'll come to you.
